Documentation

I will be spending my LAST 3 weeks at ELATAFANTECH in the office where it involves more on documentation such as preparing work order, interpreting drawings and other relevant task.

Procedures involved in processing order for products.

  1. Sales department will receive orders from the customer. The details of the order such as order number, delivery mode, special instructions and product code will be filled up in form 2.6 which is the PROFORMA job sheet.
  2. Then, the proforma job sheet together with its job number will be submitted to the production department.
  3. Production supervisor will go through the proforma sheet and will list down the B.O.M(bill of material) neede for each productFor eg: motor details(kilowatt, phase and poles),type of blades(right or left side),casing size to be used.
  4. Then the proforma sheet will be sent back to the admin/sales department for the work order to be prepared.
  5. After the work order have been prepared where the details such as what type of hub to be used(form A or B),pitch angle have been included, then the WORK SHEET will be printed out.
  6. Then the operation manager will go through the work sheets for confirmation and approval. He will check on the sizes of casing needed for that particular job.If the required sizes of casing doesn't exist in the stock, then new worksheets will be issued to the fabrication department for new casings to be done. The details that will be on the worksheet:casing code c080-112(800mm inner diameter,600mm length and 112 motor plate size.),dimension of the cut blank sheet, quantity pre piece, conduit hole size and total quantity of units to be done.
  7. Then the worksheet will be distributed to the assembly staff to execute the work.If there are any doubts or problems, then the operation manager or the supervisor will clarify them.
  8. After all of the work have been completed, the copy of the completed worksheet will be submitted to the admin for invoicing and DO(delivery order) preparation.
  9. After receiving the DO or instruction from the shipping department, the goods will be prepared for delivery which is the loading goods to the container.
11.Storing the casings to sent for galvanizing

The job number(J1184),casing dimension and detail ("C071-60-UG"=710mm inner diameter,600 length, ungalvanized) and casing number is written for traceability.

This is our company's stock. It is done when there are not many orders so it can be used for next order.

It is stored outside the building.

Ready for galvanizing.

Drawing for the inspection door(IH) circled in red

Marking is done as per drawing (300x300)

The motor plate is placed on the casing

The plate is placed at 160mm as per worksheet{C100-160}

It is clamped using the C-clamp

2 clamps and an even stopper are used to set the plate in rigid position

Then the plate is welded

Then the "leg" of the plate is placed
